Sema: when the hash is the word
What if we can construct a collective multi-agent brain that persists and grows with each inference loop? Sema is the communication layer for multiple agents working together.
This is better than human-to-human collaboration, because agents always use agreed upon definitions from their shared Sema library.
Now we can create verifiable agent-to-agent contracts.
And, what if we collect metadata on what Sema hashes are used? Suddenly we can start tracing the agent's thought process, both in the solo- and multi-agent context.
This allows us to optimise agentic systems, audit their behaviour, and potentially bootstrap harnesses.
How this fits into the BraInference programme
Sema is a decentralised protocol for the creation of words that agents need to communicate, think, and operate.
It is a self-organising whole.
It is complex because every agent interaction with the vocabulary subjects it to change. The interdependencies in the system are too large for it to solve itself.
It is only through the interactions between agents that the vocabulary is shaped.
