Predict what an incumbent will not pursue by asking where it is not spoiled for resources
Mechanism
Incumbents skip domains where they have abundant substitutes and pursue those where they are constrained. Ask on which resource the incumbent has effectively infinite supply and where it is scarce. A niche is defensible where a small team's efficiency counts for more than the incumbent's ability to buy more of a resource such as annotation.

- Abundance of the incumbent's inputs is checked, not assumed
- Constraints are tested per resource

- Resource treated as scarce that the incumbent can buy
- Assuming today's constraints persist
Identity
The name is the hash of the definition. Change a word and it becomes a different pattern.
