CoordinatorLaneTopology#7e86
One coordinator, a few lanes, sub-agents beneath, and no rigid org chart
Mechanism
A single coordinator agent holds the plan and talks with the human. It delegates to a small number of lanes, each of which spawns sub-agents for the work. Deeper role hierarchies with CEO and CTO agents add bureaucracy and token waste without better results than simple sub-agent delegation.
Invariants
- Only the coordinator plans across lanes
- Human stays in the operator seat
Failure modes
- Bureaucracy growing exponentially with role count
- Human bottleneck when the coordinator waits on decisions
